"For me my career choice goes much deeper than having a job. People touch my life daily and I believe by touching their hair I am also touching their lives."

Erica has been a hairstylist in Macomb since 2004. It has been a passion of hers since high school. She attended Carl Sandburg College in 2003 and received her cosmetology certification in 2004. After working under someone for nine years, the opportunity came along to open Platinum Hair Salon in 2014 — a lifelong dream. She became Redken Color Certified in 2015.

Karri Norton

"There is truly no greater happiness than making others feel better about themselves, and I'm fortunate enough to do it every day."

After graduating high school in 1998, Karri attended Dayton School of Hair Design in Keokuk, IA. She completed her cosmetology requirements in 1999 and started full-time as a stylist in Macomb. In 2018 Karri joined Monat and is happy to offer these products to her clients.

"A licensed cosmetologist whose true love is nails."

Jessie graduated cosmetology school in 1995 from Canton, IL. She started her career at the Cutting Edge, took a break to raise her family, and returned to nails six years ago. She splits her time between Blandinsville and Platinum.
